Timeline - evolution of the Hoops 4 Health Program

1995 - 2001:
The Hoops 4 Health Program Australia is developed. H4H Founder, Timmy Duggan initiates the program due to the much publicised ill health of Aboriginal People in Australia and through his involvement at a professional level in the sport of basketball.

2002:
H4H Program launched at Wuchopperen Health Service in Cairns , Far North Queensland.

2003:
Launch of the H4H Hot Shot Player Pack

2004:
The H4H Program is acknowledged in the Bulletin Magazine's Smart 100 Poll in the Health and Science Category

2006:
1 st Hoops 4 Health Challenge, Darwin , NT featuring Anthony “the Man” Mundine

Program is incorporated into the NT AIDS and Hepatitis Council as a tool for educating people about Hepatitis C

Launch of the C the Goal Cards

2007:
Release of the C the Goal H4H Educational DVD
2007 2nd Hoops 4 Health Challenge
